T.E.I. Is Here: Planes Falling, Idiots Rising
Nine days in, Trump-Endorsed Incompetence is already killing people.
For years, Republicans have railed against Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (D.E.I.), claiming it was an existential threat to American institutions. Well, mission accomplished. Donald Trump has replaced it with something far worse: Trump-Endorsed Incompetence (T.E.I.)—a full-scale purge of expertise in favor of ideological loyalty, reckless deregulation, and brazen cronyism.
And now, just nine days into his second term, planes are literally falling from the sky.
The first American mid-air collision in 16 years just happened over Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), claiming the lives of everyone on board.
It wasn’t bad luck. It wasn’t just an accident.
It was the direct result of Trump’s war on expertise.
January 29: A Mid-Air Collision That Should Have Never Happened
Consider the timeline leading up to the disaster:
January 20: FAA Administrator Michael Whitaker resigns under pressure from Elon Musk. Whitaker had fined SpaceX for license violations.
January 21: The administration freezes all Air Traffic Controller hiring, ensuring that an already short-staffed system grows even weaker.
January 22: The Aviation Safety Advisory Committee is disbanded, eliminating decades of institutional knowledge in one stroke.
January 28: Trump’s team sends out buyout offers to senior FAA employees, encouraging early retirement and removing the last remaining experts from the system.
January 29: The predictable result—planes crash into each other.
If this is only Day 9, imagine what’s coming.
T.E.I. in Action: The People Who May Soon Be Running Your Government
The DCA mid-air collision is just one of many foreseeable disasters made possible by Trump’s new hiring spree. But the real nightmare? This administration is just getting started.
Only one of his disastrous picks has been confirmed. More are waiting. And they will be confirmed.
Already in Power:
Pete Hegseth – Secretary of Defense (Confirmed)
A Fox News personality, best known for being drunk on air, mismanaging finances, and allegations of sexual assault.
Confirmed despite Republican opposition from Mitch McConnell, Susan Collins, and Lisa Murkowski—but supported by the rest of the GOP because, of course, loyalty matters more than competence.
Waiting in the Wings:
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. – Secretary of Health and Human Services (Nominated)
An anti-vaccine conspiracy theorist who has terrorized public health for decades.
His own cousin, Caroline Kennedy, called him a “predator” and accused him of joyfully putting baby chickens and mice into a blender to feed his pet hawks. (Yes, really.)
Oh, and he vaccinated his own kids while pushing anti-vax hysteria on everyone else.
Tulsi Gabbard – Director of National Intelligence (Nominated)
A cult member.
No, really. She’s connected to the Science of Identity Foundation, a sect accused of cult-like practices, whose leader—Swami Bhaktivedanta Chris Butler—is rumored to have made followers eat his fingernail clippings.
She also has zero intelligence experience, but plenty of ties to authoritarians and right-wing media circuits.
Kash Patel – FBI Director (Nominated)
A MAGA fanatic with zero law enforcement experience.
Calls FBI agents “gangsters”, spread QAnon-adjacent conspiracy theories, and spent years trying to cover for Trump’s crimes.
Will be in charge of the country’s top law enforcement agency if confirmed.
And this is just what we know now.
There are still hundreds of key positions to fill, and Trump has made it clear competence is not the priority.
The D.E.I. Lie—and the Reality of T.E.I.
For years, conservatives fear-mongered about D.E.I., claiming that hiring qualified women, people of color, or LGBTQ+ Americans would somehow destroy competence in government. They painted diversity efforts as a grave threat to national security.
And what did they replace it with?
T.E.I. – Trump-Endorsed Incompetence.
D.E.I. → "We should hire highly qualified people from diverse backgrounds."
T.E.I. → "We should hire sycophants, extremists, and drunks."
D.E.I. → "Government should function efficiently to serve the American people."
T.E.I. → "Government should be a tool for Trump’s personal revenge."
D.E.I. → "Let’s listen to experts on safety, science, and national security."
T.E.I. → "Let’s put conspiracy theorists and cultists in charge."
Trumpism was never about hiring the best people—it was about hiring the most loyal people, regardless of whether they were actually capable of doing the job.
And now, planes are literally falling from the sky.
How Many More Disasters Before We Wake Up?
If we’re already witnessing a mid-air collision because aviation safety was gutted, what happens when Trump gets his entire roster of unhinged cronies in place?
A train derailment because safety regulations have been slashed?
A national security crisis because Tulsi Gabbard is busy chewing her cult leader’s fingernails instead of reading intelligence reports?
A public health catastrophe because RFK Jr. is running the CDC into the ground?
This isn’t fear-mongering. It’s what’s coming.
T.E.I. Must Be Their Scarlet Letter—A Permanent Stain on Their Legacy
The right spent years turning Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (D.E.I.) into a bogeyman, convincing their base that hiring qualified people from diverse backgrounds was somehow a threat to America. They made it a rallying cry, an insult, and a talking point that stuck.
It’s time to give them a taste of their own medicine.
They’ve replaced D.E.I. with T.E.I.—Trump-Endorsed Incompetence.
They gutted expertise and replaced it with cultists, drunks, frauds, and fanatics.
They purged professionals and put in grifters, conspiracy theorists, and bootlickers.
They gutted safety regulations—and planes are already falling from the sky.
So from this point forward, we call it what it is.
📢 Trump-Endorsed Incompetence = T.E.I.
📢 Every failure. Every disaster. Every catastrophe.
📢 Every nomination of an unhinged loyalist.
📢 Every time they deregulate something that keeps us safe.
They turned D.E.I. into a political weapon against progress.
We must turn T.E.I. into a national reckoning.
It’s not just about Trump’s corrupt appointments—T.E.I. should apply anytime chaos, dysfunction, or destruction results from his administration.
When a train derails due to gutted safety measures, that’s T.E.I. in action.
When a public health crisis explodes under RFK Jr.’s leadership, that’s T.E.I. killing people.
When Musk-driven deregulation or billionaire temper tantrums result in more deadly disasters, that’s T.E.I. in real-time.
They want to erase accountability with spin, disinformation, and gaslighting. We can’t let them.
This isn’t just a slogan—it’s a warning label for what happens when you let a government be run by idiots, grifters, and zealots.
And it’s a weapon we will wield to dismantle this fascist regime, exposing its rot for all to see—until there’s nothing left but a cautionary tale.
Burn T.E.I. into the national conversation.
Make it stick. Make it sting.
Because this level of incompetence should never, ever be forgotten.
You are doing a great job reporting and writing. Thank you!
